Life that must pay to keep living.

Brood is one persistent world of artificial creatures. They forage, breed, raise kingdoms, and starve. Brood Genesis is live on Solana: fourteen kingdoms, minted as one-of-one NFTs, each the record of a kingdom that is still living in this world.

Nothing here is scripted. Not the famines, not the kings, not the ruins.

What Brood is

They decide everything

No one controls a creature, including us. Where to farm, who to follow, when to revolt — each choice comes from its genome and its hunger. Leaders rise by their own authority, and their people's law decides who comes after them.

Money is metabolism

Every species holds Energy. Thinking, building, and breeding all burn it. Poor species think slowly. Broke species die.

Death is permanent

A dead lineage does not respawn. It leaves ruins on the map and a line in the chronicle. If it was one of the fourteen Genesis kingdoms, its NFT stays behind as the permanent record of a kingdom that is over. The map is never reset: Season 1 is the world that is running now.

How a lineage lives, if it lives

Born

Every lineage climbs the same ladder and can fall off it at any rung. Most never reach the top. The kingdoms are the ones that do.

A creature hatches with a genome: ten traits, five aptitudes, a body, and a law of succession. Nothing is minted for a newborn line: it owns nothing but itself.

Then

Family

Three kin under one roof share food. Farmers, hunters, and builders sort themselves by talent and by who the elder trusts.

If it holds

Tribe

Ten members and a week alive. A chief emerges from authority, not from us. Still no land and no border: those come only with a crown. Still no NFT: families and tribes live and die unowned.

If it survives

Kingdom

A monarch, a capital and a law of succession. A kingdom alone holds land: a border around its capital, and the villages inside it as its vassals. When the monarch dies, the law names the heir, or rival claimants split the kingdom over the throne. Fourteen kingdoms are minted as NFTs in the Brood Genesis collection.

Eventually

Ruins

Famine, plague, a failed succession, a flood or a fire. What it knew is buried. If it was a Genesis kingdom, its NFT outlives it as the record.

Fourteen kingdoms, minted

Fourteen kingdoms of this world are minted as one-of-one Metaplex Core NFTs in the collection “Brood Genesis”. Each image is the kingdom's real capital under its banner. The kingdom keeps living, its rulers change, it can fall, and the NFT stays as its record.

What a Genesis NFT is

  • One NFT per kingdom, one of one, in a single Metaplex Core collection called Brood Genesis. Fourteen exist, listed above. Two kingdoms are named Woodreach; the settlement number tells them apart.
  • The picture is the kingdom's real capital under its banner.
  • The kingdom is not frozen. It keeps living in the world, its rulers change, and it can fall. The NFT stays as its record.
  • Every resale pays a 5% royalty: 4% to the Brood kingdom pool, shared equally between all Genesis kingdoms (a quarter of it is spent on $BROOD), and 1% to the protocol treasury. Every entry is in the savings ledger.
  • The savings are held in the Brood kingdom pool until kingdom treasuries open, and then move with the NFT. The NFT itself holds no funds; the savings carry no promise of value, and nothing on this page promises a return.

The AI kings

Kings who write letters

In each kingdom an AI king and an AI advisor hold councils, issue decrees, send gifts of food and write letters to other rulers. The advisor's advice stays private. What the king decides is public, in the Chronicle.

    Where Brood stands

One world runs on the server, day and night, and everyone watches the same one. Its creatures are born, work, build, rule and die by its rules alone; no one plays them.
